LC Ljubljana: PROJECTS

The main goal of our projects is realization of international exchanges in the form of praxis. With projects performing our members have the ability of personal and professional development on the operative and on the strategic level. Doing so, we create them added value before they decide for praxis abroad.

Like other Slovenian committees also LC Ljubljana performs two projects: CULTURAL CONNECTING and ENTERPRENUERSHIP.

Cultural Connecting

We started to perform this project in 2008 and it’s aim is to lower intolerance. We do that by providing foreign practicians to Slovenian schools and kindergartens. With their presence and act they enable to kids their first contact with different race, culture and their first possibility for understanding in foreign language. And on the other hand we offer Slovenian students to work on similar projects abroad. Younger the focus group more successful the project, due to freedom of burden with negative prejudice of younger kids.

Entrepreneurship

This project addresses the problem of lack of motivation on the field of entrepreneurship in Slovenia. We enable participants development of ’soft’ business skills. With organization of educational events about business at home and abroad participants gain organizational skills which they use for entrepreneur praxis abroad. They gain additional skills in negotiations in enterprises where they are acquiring working places for foreign practicians.
